We use Australia Post and Sendle couriers (Couriers Please / Aramex) for all parcels within Australia. International orders are shipped with Australia Post and are delivered in the destination country by the relevant local postal authorities.

Orders shipping outside of Australia may be liable for local import taxes or duties. If any charges are payable, the local customs authorities will contact you directly to settle these charges. 

Unfortunately we are unable to estimate or pre-pay these charges beforehand. If you contact your local customs authorities in your country, they may be able to provide more information.

The most common reasons for not receiving your parcels are:

  • Incorrect address given
  • Parcels not collected in time
  • 3rd party receiving arrangement for commercial addresses
  • Redirect on commercial addresses

From time to time, there may be issues with our shipping carrier such as accidents, theft and lost in transit.

If your parcel has not been received in time, please get in touch with us and we will investigate this further for you.

There are 2 common reasons why a parcel is returned to sender:

  1. You provided the wrong shipping address
  2. Parcel was not collected in time

As a business, we are charged an extra fee to have parcels returned. If this happens, we will contact you to either arrange for re-delivery or a refund:

 

Re-delivery: If you would like us to re-deliver your order, please note a $10 re-pack and re-delivery charge will apply.

Refund: If you would like a refund, we will deduct the $10 return to sender charge from your refund. (Please note: If you also paid for shipping originally, this amount is non-refundable.)

 

We do our best to make sure that the shipping address is correct on your parcel by asking that you confirm your shipping address after your order has been placed.

 

To avoid these unnecessary charges, please keep an eye on your tracking and let us know ASAP if any of your shipping details are incorrect.

 

If the reason for a 'return to sender' parcel is a fault of ours, we will of course re-deliver the item at no additional cost.

To request a return, please fill in this form. Once your eligibility for return has been approved, we will notify you via email with instructions on where/how to send your return back to us.

If a refund has been processed for your return, it will be made back to your original payment method. The time taken to receive the refund will vary by payment method - but typically take around 5 business days.

We don't offer free returns, but we do have a low rate $8 return option via Australia Post for returns within Australia.

When you place your order successfully you should receive a confirmation email from us. If you can't find it in your inbox, it may have ended up in your junk/spam folder. 

 If you still can't see the email, please get in touch with us at contact@sitandwonder.com.au.

Oftentimes the reason for this is because the email address entered at checkout contains a typo.

We accept payment by all major credit/debit cards, PayPal (including Pay in 4), Afterpay and Zip.

If your order includes tracked postage, you should be able to track your order via the link in your shipping confirmation email. You will also receive separate tracking emails from Australia Post or DHL Express.

If you haven't received any tracking emails, please check your junk/spam folder and then get in touch with us at contact@sitandwonder.com.au.

The best place to get the latest information on the whereabouts of your parcel is via the Australia Post or DHL Express tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.

For every order you make with us you will automatically start earning points on them. However, in order to access these points, you need to create/activate an account with us.

You can create an account by clicking on the "Log In" button and sign up for a new account. 

OR you can click on the "EARN REWARDS" tab and the "CREATE ACCOUNT" button.

Make sure you use the same email address that was used to make your past and future orders so you can see your points.

The VIP list is our email newsletter which is separate to creating an account for the Rewards Program.

In order to access the Rewards Program, you need to create a customer account by clicking on the 'Log In' button OR click on the "EARN REWARDS" tab and select the "CREATE ACCOUNT" button.

To avoid fraudulent transactions, there is a 30 day waiting period for birthday vouchers.

  • If you input your birthday less than 30 days before the day, you will have to wait 30 days from the input date to receive your voucher.

Example: Your birthday is 30 June. You input your birthday on 23 June. You will receive your birthday voucher 30 days after 23 June.

  • If you input your birthday more than 30 days before the day, you will receive your voucher on your birthday.

Example: Your birthday is 30 June. You input your birthday on 1 March. You will receive your birthday voucher on 30 June.

  • If your birthday has passed, you'll receive your birthday voucher the following year.

Example: Your birthday is 30 June. You input your birthday on 1 July 2021. You will receive your birthday on 30 June 2022.

All of our jewels are made from precious metals - they are not plated or filled, which means they can be in contact with water without fear of damage.

Showering and swimming in the ocean is fine. We would just advise against swimming in chlorinated pools as the harsh chemicals can damage the jewels.

There are certain pieces that may benefit from less contact with water, they will be stated in the product listing or in care instructions when you receive your order.

Our jewels are sustainably crafted from recycled and recyclable materials -

About half of our range is made in our Sydney studio. The other half is manufactured by our trusted suppliers based in Jaipur, India.

All of our raw materials and gemstones are responsibly sourced. We only work with suppliers that are certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council and are subject to rigorous audits to ensure compliance with ethical and sustainable standards.

To fix this, make sure your jewels are clean, using some detergent or gentle soap, along with warm water. Dry your jewellery completely, and then use our complimentary anti-tarnish polishing cloth included in every order.

It may require some vigorous rubbing, but the dark marks will be removed completely. Please note: Not all polishing cloths will work. Our cloths are impregnated with an anti-tarnish polishing compound which is able to remove the oxidisation.

You can also use household silver cleaners available at your local supermarket or hardware store.

What you need:

1. A bit of patience

2. 2 x small needles or pins

3. A flat surface

Method:

The best way is to lay the necklace or chain flat on a surface - do not try to untangle it while it is hanging. Take 2 small pins or needles and poke the centre of the knot to gently loosen it and unravel the chain.

All of our rings are in whole sizes, under the US convention. The best way to work out your ring size is by ordering one of our free ring sizers

However, there are some at-home methods you can try here.

To reduce the amount of paper and waste, we only send order confirmations via email at the time of purchase. 

For domestic (Australian) orders, we will not include any paper invoices in the parcel so the recipient will not receive an invoice. 

For international orders, we are required to include details of the parcel value and a tax invoice on the outer packaging so the parcel can be processed by customs officials.
